The best bbq chick ever! followed by more cocktails and lots of relaxing reading. Exhausted kids snoozing before dinner, grabbing some me time and totally loving doing nothing. Take breaks they are the foundation for the times when you are not on a break.
Sounds wonderful! Lounging around and kicking back is one of my favorite things to do. Enjoy!!!!

It’s so much fun having together time and not having to be anywhere or do anything by a certain time and just having new experiences.

I was going to ask about the calorific value of the BBQ sauce but figured that the skinless chicken breast with a green undressed salad and no chips was more than good enough for being on a mini-holiday so decided not to pressure myself.

Thank you! I’ll give this the attention it deserves when I’m at home. Final day of our little break today and the kids will be stirring soon. My blog time is almost up 🙂

So true, we need breaks. I always come back from a break with such renewed energy and a whole new outlook.

It was such a good idea to come away, just a change of scenery and new things to do and try, exhausted content kids, all sharing a hotel room so having lots of fun. We were out until late and then had shadow puppets acting like 5 year olds giggling and larking about like we were on a sleep over. Great times.

There are many, many times I’ve wished I was bottomless or at least bottom a bit less. I’m not sure if this is good or bad, are you feeling at a loss or totally free?
